History
The idea of the Morris Family Reunion came together in 1982 in Selma, Alabama in the front yard of our grandfather and grandmothers home, Bezel and Daisy Robinson. Levi Morris Sr and Daisy Lee Robinson (Morris) the proud parents of 15 children agreed to host the first family reunion is Folsom, Louisiana in 1983.At this event, hundreds of family members and friends attended all over the nation consistently for nine strong years. In 1989, Levi Morris Sr. passed away and soon after Daisy Lee Morris passed away in 1990.
The loss of both parents took a devastating blow to the Morris and Robinson family and friends. Our family, the Morris's and Robinsons, still had the desire to carry out the tradition of families coming together in unity. The Morris family picked up the torch of love and have been carrying it for over 29 years. Because of the love, honor, bravery, and relentless determination for success, the Morris family has agreed to be the role model family for the UFA non-profit organization which was launched on May 8, 2002. The Morris and Robinson Family is the foundation of love for the United Families of America organization.
